The Certificate of Incorporation is the official document issued by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) confirming that your company has been legally registered under the Companies Act 2016. What Is the Certificate of Incorporation?
The Certificate of Incorporation (issued under Section 17 of the Companies Act 2016) is the formal proof that:

For Sdn Bhd companies incorporated after 31 January 2017 (when the Companies Act 2016 came into force), the certificate is issued in digital form by SSM, with a unique reference number that can be verified online.
For older companies, hard-copy certificates are still in circulation — and certified true copies can be retrieved when needed.
